After releasing his new LP Revival on December 15, Eminem has unveiled a music video for the album's first single. Check out the video for "Walk On Water" above, courtesy of the artist's YouTube channel.

Behind the elegance of Beyoncé's biblical hook, Eminem skillfully delivers a brooding spoken word piece over gentle piano accompaniment. The rapper laments unfair expectations and ponders the mortality of his musical career, saying "Why are expectations so high? Is it the bar I set? My arms, I stretch but I can't reach a far cry from it, or it's in my grasp, but as soon as I grab, squeeze, I lose my grip like a flying trapeze... Am I lucky to be around this long? Begs the question, though, especially after the methodone... The crowds are gone, and it's time to wash out the blonde, sales decline, the curtain's drawn."

The video portrays an introspective Eminem rapping each verse as crowds come and go, cutting to visuals of the artist typing thoughtfully on a typewriter while surrounded by a surfeit of discarded papers.

Revival was Eminem's first studio LP since 2013's The Marshall Mathers LP2. Purchase a copy of the album on Amazon.
