Last night on The Late Show With David Letterman, Diana Krall performed the title song off of her new album, Wallflower. You can watch her performance above.
Krall has five Grammy awards under her belt, as well as twelve studio albums, with Wallflower being her twelfth. The album consists entirely of cover songs, and this particular tune was written by Bob Dylan in 1971. For this Letterman performance, Krall sings and plays piano as usual, accompanied by guitar and a string quintet. The song has a country-jazz sound, and the stage's cool lighting and Krall's smokey vocal style create a laid-back atmosphere.
Wallflower is available to purchase on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
