The latest single from The Neighbourhood's mixtape #000000 & #FFFFFF is "Warm," a mellow track featuring a verse from Atlanta based rapper Raury. The mixtape is available as a free download on livemixtapes.com.
The group has strayed far from the alternative rock sound of their indie hit "Sweater Weather." The single has an electronic vibe with its dubbed vocals and unusual samples, such as the intro from Funkadelic's "Maggot Brain." It'll be interesting to see whether the band returns to their original rock sound in their next studio album.
Also, the cover art for the single features an image a vintage Marshall cabinet speaker, you can even see the use of the upside-down letter "M" used for the "W" in title.
