"Warrior Lord" - Poliça [YouTube Official Video]

Minneapolis' Poliça have just released a video for their mellow jam "Warrior Lord," the third song we've heard so far from their upcoming album Shulamith.

The video, directed by Isaac Gale and David Jensen, depicts two women (lovers? friends? sisters?) frolicking in and around a lake. Aided by colorful lens tints and well composed shots, the "Warrior Lord" video perfectly encapsulates Poliça's sound: mellow, soothing, and a little mysterious.

Singer Channy Leaneagh warbles almost indecipherably through a haze of reverb and auto-tune, adding to the song's mystique and sounding like a female, indie version of Future. Let's hope one of the bonus tracks on Shulamith is a cover of "Bugatti."
