Wow! In this gorgeous clip, London's Capital Children's Choir perform an absolutely breathtaking version of Spiritualized's "So Long You Pretty Thing". Jason Pierce's music has always been rife with gospel influences and orchestra arrangements, and in the capable group's hands those elements are brought to the forefront with heavenly effect. Jason Pierce: leader of the children?

This is hardly the first rodeo for Capital Children's Choir as they have performed everywhere from the Vatican to Conan O'Brien, find out more about the project here. You can also check out our feature on a a recent Spiritualized show in Colorado here (there is also a free download of the show).

Spiritualized, much like Wu-Tang, is for the children.

We were very excited when Domino Recordings asked us to record a cover of So Long You Pretty Thing by Spiritualized. Orchestrated, arranged and directed by Rachel Santesso. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and The Pool.
