Yet another piece of promotion from Columbia about the upcoming new record from Daft Punk Random Access Memories. The 5th episode of "The Collaborators" features Animal Collective's Panda Bear (Noah Lennox) who speaks at length about his maturity as a musician, the origins of Animal Collective, what recording in France with Daft Punk was like and how he and his brother bonded over the band at an early age.

I'd say I'm getting sick of all this teasing promotion Columbia's up to... but come on: it's a video of Noah Lennox talking about playing on the new Daft Punk album. It's pretty intriguing that each of these interview subjects has either mentioned using the past to make futuristic sounds or vice versa. And somehow with this band that makes total sense.

Random Access Memories is out May 21.
