Waxwing Live on KEXP 8.17.2013 [YouTube Video]

Seattle's Waxwing reunited in August for a performance at The Vera Project, and in anticipation of the show, they played a 4 song set live on KEXP. The Rocky Votolato-fronted rock band called it quits in 2005, but their performance picked it up right where they left off. Kicking things off with "All of My Prophets," the band tore into a passionate rock and roll set, ripping through "Spanish Quarter," "Dance Macabre," and "Colour." The show's host, Sharlese Metcalf, was suitably impressed, which is unsurprising, considering the passion and fury with which the band played. Check out the full video above.

No word yet whether the band will play more reunion shows, but stay tuned to Zumic for more updates.
