Jimmy Fallon's run as the host of Late Night on NBC has come to a close, as he's set to take over for Jay Leno on The Tonight Show on February 17, 2014. For his final act on Late Night, the comedian and musician played a heart-warming version of The Band's "The Weight" along with The Muppets. Watch above.

The official muppet band is Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem - Dr. Teeth on keyboard, Animal on the drums, Floyd on bass, and Janice on lead guitar, Zoot on saxophone, and Lips on trumpet - and they're joined here by Miss Piggy, Kermit The Frog, Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker, Swedish Chef, The Great Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, Rizzo the Rat, Scooter, Pepe the King Prawn, Walter, and Robin the Frog.

Jimmy plays drums alongside Animal, and sings with the muppets. Some lines are changed around, like when Kermit sings "Get back to Miss Piggy, you know she's the only one" and when Animal goes crazy about putting the load on him at the end of the vocal harmonies. It's impressive how lifelike all the characters seem, and the music is a nice interpretation of the classic country rock tune.

Fallon looks to continue his excellent talk show hosting on The Tonight Show. At Zumic, we're excited to see what he has in store and wishing him the best of luck.
