Despite having been around for years, alt-country band Lucero is still relatively unknown by many outside their close-knit fan group, yet that's how they seem to like it. They don't have the most popular social media pages, (their Twitter reads, "we are a band challenged by technology, except for roy!") but it's this humility and playfulness that keeps their fans where they are.

The band's upcoming record, All A Man Should Do drops on September 18. To hold us over, they've released the single, "Went Looking for Warren Zevon's Los Angeles." The title refers to the late singer-songwriter that holds a special place in the heart of Lucero singer, Ben Nichols. The song itself has an air of nostalgia, a kind of sadness that still invites us to to replay over and over. Listen to it above.

Lucero's latest record, Women and Work is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
