The Foo Fighters released a soulful new single from their upcoming eighth studio album, Sonic Highways. Listen to "What Did I Do / God As My Witness" above.

"What Did I Do / God As My Witness" was recorded in Austin, Texas and Gary Clark Jr. played guitar on the track. The song is very dynamic, starting loud and then showcasing early verses accented by soft piano, as guitars and drums kick in later. The second part of the song, "God As My Witness," brings a gospel flair as Grohl belts out "God as my witness / Yeah it's gonna heal my soul tonight" with the passion of someone who's about to be saved by rock 'n roll.

Listen to all the other Sonic Highways tracks that have been released at the Foo Fighters Zumic artist page.

Sonic Highways will be released November 10th and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) and iTunes.
