Last night, Julian Casablancas + The Voidz performed their new song, "Where No Eagles Fly." Watch above.
The band, decked out in all their tough-guy gear, delivered a solid performance that hardly differed from the album cut, even with all the tricky effects. The track is a whirlwind of punk and new wave, quite the departure from the brand of garage rock Casablancas dished out with The Strokes. It's only a tiny taste of the variety on the new record. Not surprisingly, he made things a little weird by kissing Fallon's hand at the end.
The track is featured on their brand new debut, Tyranny, out now via Casablancas' own Cult Records. Get it on Amazon. Watch the official video for the song here on Zumic. For more on the band, check out the Julian Casablancas website.
