Funkmaster Flex spewed the newest dose of G.O.O.D. music on the radio yesterday. Comprising of the same dynamic team that unleashed last year's mega-hit "Mercy," we are now given the next exclusive to appear on Pusha T's much-anticipated summer album, My Name Is My Name.
Featuring Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and production by Kanye West (with no verse unfortunately), here is "Who I Am." With slow dub-step bass and a chilling string fill, this beat serves as the perfect background for each rapper's verse, as well as King Push's addictive hook "I just wanna be who I am."
Although it's in a rather slow tempo, this year's equivalent to "Mercy" is fire. Courtesy of Soundcloud, the audio for "Who I Am" is available above, and be sure to look out for My Name Is My Name scheduled to drop on July 16th.
