Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys have a history of working together, with the bands' frontmen appearing on each others' latest albums and John Homme producing some of Arctic Monkeys' album, Humbug. In this BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance, Homme and his guitarists throw together a quick acoustic rendition of "Why'd You Only Call Me When You’re High?" Homme appears to be reading the lyrics while singing it, which is hard work due to the song's exceptionally long phrases.
