Yes, It's True, the yet-unreleased fourth original album from the indie-psych-pop-rock supergroup The Polyphonic Spree, is now available as a free stream from Pitchfork. After a six-year hiatus from recording new material, the album finds the Spree back to their usual symphonic style of pop-rock, with horns, chimes and choir vocals complementing the more traditional guitar-bass-drums lineup. It's an impressive mixture of sound, and it all comes together to make a sunny and substantial album. Click on the caption above to stream the album (it may take a few minutes to load).
