Veterans of Maxwell's, Yo La Tengo, played an epic two set show on Saturday night in reverence for the Hoboken NJ venue which will close its doors July 30th.

They originally billed themselves as Condo Fucks which is YLT's garage punk alter ego cover band. Condo Fucks were supposed to open up for The Pastels but after difficulties obtaining visas and Maxwell's announcing their closing they were billed as the headliner, YLT was then billed as the opening band.

Yo La Tengo has an epic 33 year long relationship with the venue so the show held plenty of sentimental value. During the set Ira Kaplan (YLT singer/guitarist) stated, "This band does not exist without this club".

The first set under YLT was acoustic and included classic tracks along with new songs off of their 2013 album Fade. Then they went back on for an electric set under the Condo Fucks and played covers from the Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, The Troggs and many more.

Check out a couple live tracks and the setlist from the show below.
