Black Eyed Peas member Fergie has released a new music video for "You Already Know," the first single from her upcoming LP Double Dutchess, which has a scheduled release date of September 22. Check out the film above, courtesy of the artist's YouTube channel.
With a tasteful sample of James Brown and Lyn Collins' "Think (About It)" adding a rhythmic punch, Fergie's track is ambitious and catchy, combining confident hip hop vocals in the verses with a melodic hook in the chorus. Nicki Minaj contributes a poised performance over the bouncy, synth-driven beat, which was produced by will.i.am.
Directed by Bruno Ilogti and Giovanni Bianco, the clip is simple and stylish, with black-and-white visuals and an assortment of unique contraptions for stage scenery.
"You Already Know" was released last month alongside "Hungry," the Rick Ross-featured single from Double Dutchess. Before the official audio release date, Fergie will premier a visual form of the album at iPic Theaters on September 20. The LP is the singer's first solo record since 2006's The Dutchess.
