As 2015 winds down, Your Old Droog has been kicking dope freestyles around NYC. Below, you can watch him drop bars on Statik Selektah's SiriusXM radio show and at Top Shelf Premium vintage clothing store.

For Showoff Radio, Droog rhymes over Busta Rhymes' "Woo Hah!! Got You All in Check" beat (produced by Rashad "Ringo" Smith), while he goes in over Gravediggaz' "Constant Elevation" (produced by Prince Paul) at Top Shelf Premium.

One of our favorite MCs, Your Old Droog brings it on these two videos. Intelligent, gritty, and funny are a few words that can be used to describe this up-and-coming Brooklyn lyricist. The punchlines here are beyond nice, as he goes off on a wide range of topics.

Droog's style is frequently described as an update on '90s golden era hip hop, and the VHS quality to the second video plays into that style. Meanwhile, Droog is on the cutting edge of culture in 2015, referencing everything from Jidenna's "Classic Man" and Pixar to Karl Marx and PTSD.

Statik Selektah hosts Showoff Radio on Shade45 every Thursday from 8pm to midnight. Earlier this year he released Lucky 7, which he says is the last full length album he will ever do.
