Umphrey's McGee have shared a pro-shot video of their version of the Miles Davis classic "It's About That Time" from their concert at The Tabernacle in Georgia on December 31, 2018.  Watch it above on YouTube.

Joining the band onstage is Mad Dog's Filthy Little Secret Horns featuring Michael "Mad Dog" Mavridoglou on trumpet, Jeff Coffin (of Dave Matthews Band) on saxophone, Josh Quinlan on saxophone, and Chris Ott on trombone.

The performance begins fairly true to the Miles Davis original with the bass, keys, and drums nearly identical to the 1969 In A Silent Way album.  Quirky guitar fills push the song toward progressive rock, as the band work their way into the thick brew of a jam and elevate the song with fiery solos and tremendous energy.

2018 was a busy year for the group as they released three albums: It's Not Us, It's You, and BeSides.

The band is currently on a North American tour and their next show is tonight in Virginia.  For concert tickets and more, check out Umphrey's McGee's Zumic artist page.
