Remember back in February when 2 Chainz was arrested? And the cops posed for a picture with him after his arrest? (If not, read here)

February 14th, Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz was arrested in Maryland, after playing a show at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, for possession of a "weed grinder" (marijuana paraphernalia). Maryland cops made the arrest after they observed his 2013 Ford E-350 speeding down the highway and smelled marijuana in the van, finding the grinder and traces of marijuana in a gray bag of 2 Chainz.

2 Chainz was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. After his release, he took to Twitter claiming it was not his but his security guards.

Wednesday April 25, 2 Chainz was acquitted of the charges. Harold Folsome Jr, 2 Chainz security guard, who took responsibility of the grinder at the time of arrest, also took responsibility during the trial. Folsome insisted that although he takes responsibility for it, it does not belong to him. He was responsible for packing 2 Chainz bag in a hotel room, before the UMES performance, and put the gray bag inside. Three other people were in the same room hurriedly packing their bags, which is how Folsome says that the gray bag got mixed up in 2 Chainz.

According to the LA Times, 2 Chainz defense attorney said there was no evidence that the gray bag belonged to him. An Easton, Maryland judge found 2 Chainz not guilty on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
