Brand New Cancel European Tour Due to 'Insurmountable Personal Issues'

New York-based alternative group Brand New have canceled a slew of upcoming European tour dates in August, reportedly due to serious contention between band members. The full statement was released via the band's Twitter account:

Brand New regretfully announce that due to insurmountable personal issues, they have been forced to cancel their August European tour...

For those who have kept up with the band throughout the years, this comes as no real surprise. Lead vocalist Jesse Lacey has been known to get up to his share of odd antics - due to this, many unconfirmed rumors regarding a breakup or indefinite hiatus have been circulated. However, the band is still scheduled to make appearances in the US (in Cincinnati and Chicago) in September so...fingers crossed for all those that have already purchased tickets.
