Juliana Hatfield and Nada Surf's Matthew Caws introduced their new collaboration, Minor Alps, only two days ago. The duo has already offered their first single, the soft and subdued "Buried Plans." It features gentle, gliding harmonies between the two vocalists, and they are backed by a lightly strummed guitar and minimal percussion. This creates a soothing atmosphere, which fits the lyrics, as the two sing "I keep everything as quiet as I can." It's a simple and short track, but a nice debut from the new duo.
"Buried Plans" will appear on Minor Alps' first album, entitled Get There. The record is set for release on October 29th via Barsuk Records. Check out the full tracklist below:
