South African alternative rock band Kongos are gaining widespread success due to their hit single "Come With Me Now." Released on their 2012 album Lunatic, "Come With Me Now" combines high-energy vocals with interesting southern rock-style instrumentation to create a catchy tune.
The video has a strange live-action stop motion animation style, with a bunch of people sinking into a black and white watery abyss. The band jams along to the animated visual beats, with the interesting inclusion of an accordion and a tabletop steel guitar setup.
Having been around with smaller-scale success since 2007, Kongos has two albums out already, but only one, Lunatic, has made it to the US since they've signed with Epic Records. Check out all of Lunatic available for download on iTunes.
