"Star Waves" - M83 [Soundcloud]

Here we have our first peak at Anthony Gonzalez's soundtrack for the upcoming Tom Cruise film Oblivion. This is the second time in as many films Director Joseph Kosinski and composer Joseph Trapanese have enlisted a French electronic presence to create the soundtrack. Their last feature, Tron: Legacy, featured dance robots Daft Punk providing the score.

"Star Waves" is a signature M83 tune, with moody atmospherics building up to a triumphant peak. The Oblivion soundtrack is due out April 9th via Back Lot Records and the film itself will be released on the 12th.
