Eminem gave the world a quick tease of a new song on a Beats By Dre commercial during the VMAs on Sunday, and now you can hear the entire track, "Berzerk", on YouTube. The song is the first we've heard from his new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which was produced by Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin.
"Berzerk" definitely shows Eminem going in a new direction from his previous work. The song has much more of a rap-rock sound, sampling Billy Squier's "The Stroke." It definitely has some Beastie Boys influence, which is probably due to Rick Rubin's work on the album. We'll have to hear the rest of the album to see if Eminem sticks to this new sound.
You can get "Berzerk" on iTunes now.
