Elton John will finally be gracing the world with more new music. He has just announced that he will be releasing a new LP in September, the first since The Union with Leon Russell in 2010 and first solo since The Capatin and the Kid from 2006. Below, you can watch a black and white album teaser where he asks "What kind of music do I really want to make?" quickly answering, "I have to go back to go forward again". I think this approach will be exactly the kind needed to make sure this album is as good, if not better, than anything he has created.

The album is being produced by T-Bone Burnett (who has produced for everyone from the Counting Crows and B.B. King to John Mellencamp) and has a release date of September 24th.
