Best Coast has released the second song from their upcoming album, California Nights. Watch the lyric video for "Heaven Sent" above, which follows a video for "California Nights."
The pop-oriented lyrics are superimposed over shots of the California coast in the style of karaoke videos. Crudely drawn angels fly around the screen lending a comedic element to a normally straight-forward medium. The song itself is upbeat and light, mostly featuring a simple three chord structure.
