Gregg Allman is one of rock's most recognizable singers, and sounds as warm as he did back in his younger years. Above, watch him perform "I'm No Angel," which was the title track from his 1987 LP on Epic Records.
This live version has a very uplifting feel, and a Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band vibe. Gregg shines on the piano and vocals while guitarist Scott Sharrard delivers two tight solos. Two sax's and a trumpet help to fill out the sound while drummer Steve Potts and Allman Brothers Band percussionist Marc Quiñones keep a driving rhythm.
The song will be included on his live LP / DVD titled Gregg Allman Live: Back to Macon, GA. You can also listen to the previously shared "One Way Out" here on Zumic.
Gregg Allman Live: Back to Macon, GA is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, DVD).
