The Dead Daises are a new rock group that formed when singer Jon Stevens (INXS, Noiseworks) and guitarist David Lowy (The Angels) got together and wrote some songs. With their decades of experience, the two found an immediate chemistry and began to bring together more musicians for this new project. Joining them for The Dead Daisies are some very experienced players, such as Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails), Richard Fortus (Guns ‘N’ Roses, Thin Lizzy), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), and Dizzy Reed (Guns ‘N’ Roses). Their debut single, "Lock 'N' Load," was written and recorded with none other than Slash, which certainly gives it some credibility. Luckily, you can download a free copy from Rolling Stone now.
