Scottish alt-rock legends The Jesus And Mary Chain will tour Europe in 2020.

With shows set to run from March to April, longtime fans will get the chance to see The Jesus and Mary Chain perform their breakthrough album Darklands in its entirety. After their debut album Psychocandy garnered almost unanimously positive reviews, Darklands reached number five on the UK Official Albums Chart in '87 — cementing the band's place in alternative music history.

The Jesus and Mary Chain broke up in '99 and reunited eight years later for a string of live performances that turned into a pretty consistent touring schedule. The band's most recent album, 2017's Damage and Joy, was their first new music released in nearly 20 years. The Darklands tour follows a 30th anniversary tour for Psychocandy from 2014 to 2015.
