Back in April, it was announced that the White Stripes would be releasing a commemorative 10th anniversary vinyl of their major label debut, Elephant. It was exclusive to Record Store Day, but now the special vinyl album will be made available to people everywhere in a wide release via Jack White's Third Man Records. The set features two 180-gram LPs along with double gatefold, printed inner sleeves, and an MP3 download. The original analog recordings from 2002 were remastered for this commemorative reissue.

As Third Man Records states:

This album is dedicated to the death of the sweetheart and is still as poignant today as when it was originally released in 2003. We draw a firm line here… you can't consider yourself a White Stripes fan without this record on your record shelf.

That's a good enough reason to buy the album.

The Elephant reissue will be out on August 27th, but you can pre-order it now on Third Man Records' official site.

Following is the tracklist for Elephant:

1. Seven Nation Army
2. Black Math
3. There's No Home For You Here
