Death Cab For Cutie's eighth studio album, Kintsugi, is now available for streaming via NPR First Listen.

Kintsugi, the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery, is a metaphor for the healing process singer-songwriter Ben Gibbard has been experiencing since his break up with actress Zooey Deschanel in 2011. Over 11 songs, the album takes you on the emotional journey of losing someone you love before displaying the uplifting spirit of mending the pain.

For more information on the album's previously released singles "Black Sun," "No Room In Frame," "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive," and "Little Wanderer," check out their write-ups on Zumic.

Kintsugi will be out March 31st, and is available for pre-order on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, Cassette, MP3). You can also stream the full album above, via Spotify.
