Jay-Z's Magna Carta Track "Oceans" Will Feature Frank Ocean

When a big-name rapper like Jay-Z calls a track "Oceans," what else do you expect, really?

Today, one of the pages of Jay-Z's songbook for Magna Carta has been revealed. It is the page for his new song "Oceans," which we now know will feature, you guessed it, Frank Ocean.

On the page we also get to see most of the lyrics for Jay-Z's verses. Take a look for yourself below.

Maybe it's because Jay-Z and Kanye have spent so much time together over the past couple of years but, like a lot of the tracks on Yeezus, this song is very racially charged. With references to the Ivory Coast, water in blood and breaking glass ceilings, this race-centric track is an interesting early track for Jay to reveal.

While the page does show most of the song's lyrics, it doesn't give us any glimpses into the chorus, which will likely be performed by Ocean. However, we're sure that whatever the words are, Ocean will coat them in honey and use them to melt our little hearts.

Seeing as the song is, sort of, named for him, we're pretty sure it will be good.

Though the lyrics for "Oceans" sound good on paper, reading them is never quite the same as hearing them performed. All we can do now is keep our fingers crossed for an early release of the track! But with Magna Carta only about a week away now, we don't have our hopes up.
