Since Rage Against the Machine's breakup in 2000, when singer Zach de la Rocha left the band, the other members have remained active with other groups. Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commerford teamed with Chris Cornell to form Audioslave. Morello also has performed solo and as The Nightwatchman. In 2016, Morello, Wilk, and Commerford joined with members of Cypress Hill and Public Enemy to form the hard-hitting political group Prophets of Rage. RATM would reform in 2007 and would go on to play gigs until 2011.
