Happy Monday, everyone! To get you through the week, Big Boi released yet another mashup of one of his songs from Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. This time, his track "Tremendous Damage" featuring Bosko, is mashed up with Charles Bradley and Menahan Street Band's "The World" to create "Damaged World."
This is the fifth installment of his mashup Monday series, following last week's "Run Th3 World." All five mashups were remixed by producer Dungeoneze.
Big Boi's original track was a piano ballad with a minimalist beat. Here, he actually sounds more at home with a soulful, upbeat sample, recalling his days with Outkast. The video, like all of Big Boi's mashup Monday videos, is crudely animated, looking like it was created on a Windows 95 computer. This time, a spaceship, made up of polygons, floats in space as it gets struck by lightning.
