The official trailer for Randall Miller's CBGB has been released.
CBGB features the star studded cast of Alan Rickman, Malin Åkerman, Freddy Rodriguez, Stana Katic, Richard de Klerk, Rupert Grint, Justin Bartha, Joel David Moore, Johnny Galecki, Donal Logue, Ashley Greene, Taylor Hawkins and Mickey Sumner.
In 1973, one of the most legendary venues in American history, CBGB, opened its doors and with that came a total cultural and musical revolution.
Needless to say Miller's interpretation of the events seem like they may be a bit skewed or exaggerated. The film looks like it's going to do the venue justice from the storytelling aspect but appears to lack depth. Who knows though? Maybe I'm terribly wrong.
CBGB will premiere at the CBGB Festival in New York City and will hit theaters October 11th.
