With the insanely successful year he's been having, it's no surprise that Pharrell was chosen to open the 14th annual BET Awards. However, it was a huge surprise when he brought out fellow Virginia-bred entertainer Missy Elliott!
Pharrell started things off with "Come Get It Bae" from his latest album, G I R L. Complete with a "BAE" cheerleading squad, Pharrell and his girls gave a highly-choreographed performance which had audience members from the likes of Rev Run to John Legend jamming along. The song then seamlessly transitioned into Missy Elliot's 2003 track "Pass That Dutch," as Missy appeared on stage and dropped a verse. Check out the fun-fueled performance above.
