Death Grips are continuing their current trend of no-showing as they've blown off their appearance at yesterday's Osheaga festival, as well as announced the cancellation of their upcoming shows in New York and Boston.

For those who are unaware, after festival authorities announced Death Grips would not be playing their scheduled after-show at the Bottom Lounge, Lollapaloozers rushed to the stage and proceeded to destroy all of the band's equipment - most notably the drumset that belonged Death Grips' member, Zach Hill.

Check out footage of the mayhem:

One shouldn't expect a personal statement from the band, as they're the definition of staying low-key. The best we can hope for is that all of this will be amounting to a big and unexpected announcement, i.e. new releases from the band on their newly-founded label, Thirdworlds. NME reports that a new album is on the way under the new label, as well as Zach Hill writing and directing a film that Death Grips will be scoring.

Check out footage of Zach Hill's drums being torn apart by fans above. Just disregard the video's misspelling of the group's name as "Death Drips."
