Coachella, one of the most popular music festivals every year, kicked off this past weekend in California. There were many bands that people were excited to see, and England's Royal Blood was one of them. Above, you can watch them perform their song "Figure It Out" via Coachella's official YouTube account.
If you're not familiar yet with Royal Blood (and why aren't you?), you'll notice that they're a two piece band, yet bassist Mike Kerr delivers a guitar sound from his Gretsch bass and Fender amps. Drummer Ben Thatcher keeps a steady beat flowing, including skillful hi-hat work. Fans throw up rock horns and form a mosh pit as the hard rocking song delivers an abundance of energy. It's quite clear to see why they won multiple 2015 NME awards for Best New and Live Band and Jimmy Page said their music is "like lava from a volcano."
The band will be opening on select dates for the Foo Fighters upcoming tour. For more information on that, as well as Royal Blood's latest music and news, check out their Zumic artist page.
