Above, you can listen to Fall Out Boy's new song, "The Kids Aren't Alright." It will be included on their sixth studio album titled American Beauty / American Psycho, which is due out January 20th, 2015.

The tune flows along a sturdy bass line as slightly distorted guitars give way to Patrick Stump's skillful vocals. A change in tempo arrives for the soaring choruses, allowing the song to breathe momentarily before rising back into swelling guitars. "The Kids Aren't Alright" is sure to have Fall Out Boy fans whistling along. While the song brings to mind The Offspring's "The Kids Aren't Alright" and the original reference point, "The Kids Are Alright" by The Who, there isn't much resemblance between them.

You can pre-order American Beauty / American Psycho on iTunes, and receive downloads of the first three singles, "Centuries," "American Beauty/American Psycho," and "The Kids Aren’t Alright."
