Mike WiLL Made it visited Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club this morning and gave an informative interview. One of the hottest rap producers over the past few years, the Atlanta native shared some interesting insight to his new single, "Buy The World," featuring Future, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar.

He revealed that the uncredited "Ooo yea" vocals throughout on the track are courtesy of Brandy. Similarly the "Hey!" in the background of the chorus is the voice of Juicy J. We also found out the bridge at the end was Mike WiLL's nieces singing, alongside Kendrick Lamar.

When asked why he chose Kendrick, known to be more conservative and less flashy than most rappers, Will informed us that the song wasn't about spending carelessly. He enlisted the Black Hippy rapper because he knew he would provide the song with more depth. Buying the world means something different to everyone. To Mike WiLL Made It, buying the world means "Success and taking care of my family and taking care of the loved ones around me. Helping build my company and everyone around me... seeing everything go from nothing to a major corporation."

As a producer for a range of popular rappers, Mike WiLL has a lot of insight on the rap game. He spoke on how artists work differently than one another in the studio. According to the producer, Gucci Mane pounds out 8 or 9 songs in just a few hours. Kendrick Lamar, on the other hand, will take a long time to put a song together.

When asked if he's competitive with DJ Mustard's incredible success this year, WiLL said he is happy for Mustard, whom he says like a little brother to him.

When asked when his debut album would be coming out Mike WiLL said he is tentative to release it, because he is "still at a proving point." He wants to get his name bigger as an artist before he drops it. He spoke about getting back to his rap roots after executive-producing Miley Cyrus' album Bangerz.

In the interview the producer seems to be down to earth and modest. Impressive for someone who’s had the kind of success he has over the past few years.
