Saturday Night Live celebrated their 40th anniversary last night with a special Sunday evening program featuring some of the most talented comedians in the show's history and some amazing musical performers. Above, you can watch Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake opening the show with a sketch featuring some hip hop, some show tunes, some old school soul, and some rock 'n roll.
As you'd expect from a Fallon-Timberlake collaboration, it's an extremely high level bit of entertainment. The singing and dancing are excellent, as is the script that references literally dozens of classic SNL skits and cast members. No spoilers here, just watch the video and enjoy!
Also be sure to check out the other musical performances on the SNL 40th Anniversary episode:
Paul McCartney - "Maybe I'm Amazed"
Paul Simon - "Still Crazy After All These Years"
Miley Cyrus - "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover" (Paul Simon Cover)
Kanye West ft Sia & Vic Mensa - "Jesus Walks," "Only One," "Wolves" Medley
