On Monday, No Limit Records boss Master P returned with his new song "Power." It features fellow New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne and rappers Gangsta & Ace B.

At one point and time, No Limit Records and Cash Money Records were crosstown rivals. In the fallout of Lil Wayne's album being delayed and tweets expressing his unhappiness with Cash Money, he and Master P were able to put the beef aside and collaborate on this anthemic track.

Master P reflects on the early stages in his career when he was struggling to be successful. He raps, "And nobody gave me nothin, I started with a dream / Nigga call me Benson, way I put together this team / We all came from the struggle, but I came from the cream". One thing that sticks out about this song is hearing Master P's voice on this modern southern trap beat. It's good to see him embracing today's Southern sound.
