On last night's episode of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon joined hard rock band Metallica and The Roots on classroom instruments for a light-hearted version of Metallica's 1991 song "Enter Sandman." Watch their performance above, via YouTube.

With James Hetfield on Click N' Play clarinet, Kirk Hammett on a melodica, Robert Trujillo on a baby electric guitar, and Lars Ulrich pounding on a small drum, Jimmy Fallon and the gang deliver a performance that's sure to have you singing along while leaving a smile on your face.

Metallica will release their new studio album, Hardwired...To Self-Destruct, this Friday. Pick it up on Amazon.
