Yesterday, the Backstreet Boys celebrated the release of their new album, In a World Like This, by performing two songs on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Their performances showed a new, more mature Backstreet Boys, without all the choreographed dancing of their early years. The first song was the title track from their album, a bright, cheery pop song full of the vocal harmonies that the Backstreet Boys are known for. The second song, "Show 'Em," was written by band members Kevin Richardson and A.J. McLean about being the best they can for their children.
McLean even brought out his daughter at the end of the song for everyone to see.
The Backstreet Boys also helped out during Kimmel's show by making a song out of the now infamous Vine video with the Apple Store meltdown woman. Harmonies and comedy? Is there nothing they can't do? After twenty years, it seems the Backstreet Boys still have lots to offer.
You can get In a World Like This on iTunes now.
