The 16-year-old New Zealand import, Lorde, born Ella Yelich-O'Connor, became the first woman in 17 years to top Billboard's Alternative chart with single "Royals."
Sultry PBR&B singer, The Weeknd, just released his remix of Lorde's hit song. The Weeknd adds his own subtle "oohs" and "ahs" along with an electronic synth-filled beat, making the song sound a lot fuller than the original.
Lorde's debut album Pure Heroine is out September 30 via Universal Music.
