Up-and-coming trio Haim has been gaining traction rapidly over the last few months. Their debut album, Days Are Gone, is due out at the end of the month, and already it has spawned a hit with lead single "The Wire." The track has now been refashioned in a remix by Tourist, the British producer. Stripping away the '70s style and driving drumbeat of the original, the remix sounds leaner and gentler in comparison. Bass beats, synths, and keyboards now support the looped vocals that "it felt right."
Days Are Gone will be released on September 30th via Columbia Records, but you can pre-order it on iTunes now. Also check out Haim on tour this fall. They will be in North America throughout October, then will finish 2013 in Europe. You can find tickets on their official website.
