Earlier this year, artsy auteur David Lynch released sophomore album The Big Dream, and now it's been announced that a "Super Deluxe Edition" of the album will be released on January 27th. Here's a "jazz remix" of album track "We Roll Together" done by Björn Yttling of Peter, Björn And John.

While just as trippy as the original version, "We Rolled Together" (in typically odd Lynchian fashion, the remix puts the song's original title in past tense) finds Yttling using his indie-pop background to brighten up the song, adding lush strings and a touch more pathos than Lynch's ice-cold original could muster. To Peter, Björn And John fans, this will be perceived as shockingly weird; to Lynch fans, this will be perceived as shockingly orthodox.
