Last night, the Chicago Cubs did the unthinkable and won their first World Series title in 108 years.

The team has many famous fans who root for them, from John Cusack to Bill Murray. One of their most recognizable and die-hard fans is Eddie Vedder, frontman for the rock band Pearl Jam. Above, you can watch a video montage of highlights from Game 7 of that miraculous win with Eddie Vedder's 2008 song "Someday We'll Go All The Way" in the background.

Vedder, who was born in Illinois, was asked to write the song by former Cubs great Ernie Banks. The song was first performed at Pearl Jam's concert in 2007.

Congratulations to the Chicago Cubs and their fans. It's been a long time coming!
