Paul Revere's ride gets a nerdy nod in Weezer's new "The British Are Coming." The track will be on their upcoming Everything Will Be Alright In The End.

The track is the most Weezer song we've heard from the new album, and the second reference to an important historical figure, following "Cleopatra." Rivers Cuomo's singing is sharp, and the lyrics have an air reminiscent of They Might Be Giants. Aurally, the track sounds like it could have landed on The Blue Album, which is unsurprising, considering the fact that the new record is also produced by The Cars' Ric Ocasek. Listen above.

Everything Will Be Alright In The End is available for preorder at Amazon. You can get your copy on October 7th.

We recently saw Weezer at Riot Fest, so be sure to check out our photos. For more music, videos, news, and tour dates check out Weezer's Zumic artist page.
