Dawes is a rising rock band whose latest album, Stories Don't End, combines intelligent and interesting songwriting with up-tempo rockers and soft ballads. They've been compared to Jackson Browne and Neil Young & Crazy Horse, with a sound that's inspired by old school folky country rock. The latest album was cleaner and more modern than their previous albums, so it will be interesting to see how they approach the material live.
